My contract at ING Bank is coming to an end – it has been a fantastic 7 months helping to create the Global Internal Communications team in the Bank’s head office in Amsterdam.
I was hired to provide strategic communication advice for a change management programme, a Group reorganisation, and the communication of the Bank’s new strategy.

The work has been rewarding, interesting and exciting – bonded with an ING issue Blackberry, commuting from the Hague to Amsterdam and putting in UK style working hours have all been a pleasure, because of the friendships formed while working with that fantastic team of communication professionals. These are challenging times for the financial services industry, and the banks in particular – there is a lot more change on the horizon, which must be achieved with ever decreasing resources. It would be an honour to be invited to consult for them again in the near future. |
